Important notice, please read:

Following recent updates about Covid and the Omicron variant, we want to reassure you that Covid safety measures will remain in place at our practice. Your podiatrists will continue to practice safely. We ask that you continue to wear a face mask when attending appointments.

Medical and Healthcare services, including Podiatry, in both the NHS and Private settings, will be subject to different guidance and regulations than other sectors. This is because many of our patients are medically vulnerable and in order to provide treatments we have to have close contact. As soon as our guidance changes we will let you know. Until then please continue to bring a face mask to your appointment.

What we will be doing: Allowing more time between appointments for extra cleaning before the next patient arrives. This also ensures you do not encounter another patient on your way in or out of the building. We continue to keep the waiting area closed and ask that you wait in your car or at the door until you are invited in for your appointment.

What we will ask of you: Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have been advised to isolate. Please call us to postpone your appointment. Please book all appointments by phone. No drop ins. Please arrive on time. The front door will be locked. Your podiatrist will greet you at the door for your appointment.

If you arrive early, please wait outside or in your car. If you are running late please call and let us know. We may need to rearrange your appointment so we do not keep other patients waiting. Please attend your appointment unaccompanied where possible. (parents/guardians will need to accompany any patients aged under 16, and carers may need to attend with some patients) Please wear a face mask for your appointment. Please use the hand sanitiser gel (provided) on entering and exiting the building Please bring an up to date list of all your medications with you so we can update our records. These measures should reassure you that we are doing everything we can to make your treatment as safe as possible (for you and the podiatrists). Please call us on 01900 826980 if you have any concerns or questions. If you would like to postpone your appointment to a later date we understand, please call to let us know and we can give you some advice.

Please note: If you have a high temperature, any signs/symptoms of Covid-19, have returned from overseas within the last 2 weeks, or have been in close contact with anyone known or suspected to have Covid-19, we ask you not to attend your appointment and to follow Government advice regarding self-isolation www.gov.uk/coronavirus or here: www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

Please remember that due to the changes described we are not able to see as many patients per day as we were prior to the pandemic, so we may not be able to offer you an appointment as soon as you would prefer. Please be patient with us. Thank you. Stay safe! Adele and team x
